Meera Sharma

Northern born Meera Sharma graduated from the University of Westminster with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design in 2012. Her graduate collection, titled Femme Fatale, is inspired by the female superhero and looks to the two layers of the powerful women. Femme Fatale was chosen for the prestigious Westminster fashion press show and immediately won attention from the press with her “innovative, strong and timeless” designs.

Subsequently Femme Fatale featured on a variety of sites and publications including Tatler, WGSN, 1883 magazine and Volt.

Within month’s Sharma was nominated for best newcomer designer, named as one of the ten hottest Brit labels to check out and was worn by music sensation Stooshe in a three-page spread for Fiasco Magazine.

Sharma is building a presence for herself worldwide, with her “distinct aesthetic vision” designing for confident women who are not afraid to express themselves. These are the women who people aspire to be like.

The multi-talented young designer has expanded her skill into the world of journalism thanks to her fashion expertise and personality work. Sharma contributes to a variety of online publications, has appeared in the international Nokia advert and has interviewed the likes of Cheryl Cole, Little Mix, Conor Maynard, The Wanted and Jay Sean to name a few.
